    A note to parents:

Ms. Langley-Burkardt's (my) classes utilize chromebooks and the Google suite for almost ALL activities and assessments.  Therefore, STUDENTS CAN FIND ALL RESOURCES NEEDED ON THEIR GOOGLE CLASSROOM PAGE FOR THEIR CLASS.  This includes PDF copies of texts and links to videos and related resources.

Please encourage your child to charge their chromebook each evening.  If, for some reason, your child does not have a chromebook (or has lost their chromebook privileges for not following rules/guidelines at the school or classroom level), they will be provided with PRINT copies of all materials (except videos) and are responsible for maintaining due dates and completing their work to the best of their ability.

If your child is absent (for any reason), the district student code of conduct guidelines for absenteeism and make-up work will be followed; however, since everything is done online for my classes, they are able to access their assignments and materials if they have access to the internet.  Routine and consistency are key in my classes, so the expectations and progression of assignments is the same for students in class and students not in the classroom.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Langley-Burkardt
