    Articles related to funding a higher education are in the news almost every day, and it can lead even the most knowledgeable of us into information overload.      PHEAA: FAFSA Overview/Line by Line Webinar April 5th and 19th FAFSA Webinar

    •   Students can print their Student Aid Report (SAR) by logging in to studentaid.gov with their FSA ID and selecting “View or Print your Student Aid Report (SAR)” from the FAFSA home page. Students can also contact the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243) and request a copy be sent via U.S. mail. The SAR is a summary of the information reported on the FAFSA. It includes information about the student’s EFC and eligibility for Federal Pell Grants and Federal Direct Student Loans

During this webinar, students and families will understand the financial decisions needed concerning higher education.     Refinancing Education Debt – is it right for me?

    Join us for this informative one-hour webinar on refinancing education debt.  Current or previous students of any age with student loans may be overwhelmed with their current repayment options or are moving closer to the repayment phase and wonder if refinance may be a better solution.  PHEAA, represented by Dan Wray and Linda Pacewicz of PHEAA PA Forward, will explain the pros and cons, availability of programs, and help those interested in understanding more about this topic.

    There is still time to register for the February 16th  –   The FAFSA® is Filed –What’s next?

    This session will provide a brief overview of what happens after a student files the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). The session will include information on the financial aid notification letter, a review of a sample financial aid offer and what a student needs to think about once they receive the bill from their postsecondary school. We will discuss types of aid students can use in paying their bill and offer suggestions on how they can pay the remaining balance.
