This is the website I use for our Math book. The students' login information is their lunch number followed by r5wd (no spaces ex. 32786r5wd). We were just beginning to work on Chapter 10-Volume. We have done every chapter in order, so you may pick up with chapter 10 until the end of the book.
Google Classrooms-Your child has his or her login information. I will post resources and practice for your child. You may also send messages to me through Google Classroom and I will help in any way that I can to answer.

Moby Max Math-We use this in class quite often. The students are able to practice math skills that are directly aligned to our Rockwood Curriculum and the Common Core Math Curriculum.
Khan Academy-This website includes videos to teach students and/or parents how to do fifth-grade math concepts. The videos are VERY easy to follow and directly align with our curriculum.

Big Ideas Math
Moby Max is used as a great review of concepts that have previously been taught in class. If you are in my 6th grade math class, I have assigned a current topic for you - Statistics! Don’t forget - the more minutes you spend on Moby Max learning, the more minutes you gain for Game Time.
Khan Academy is a wonderful resource for students who need more examples of problems and they do an excellent job with providing instruction for concepts that are taught in math class. If you happen to forget how to perform a calculation, just type in the concept into Khan Academy and they will provide you with several examples!

This website is designed for the introduction to Microbiology class. When you access the site, go to the bottom left where a tab says" Ecology" There are four areas that have to do with prokaryotes, eukaryotes and the environment. They are the Human Microbiome, Model Earth, Astrobiology and Extreme environments. There are activities, notes, interactive activities and projects that have to do with chapter 4 on types of Microbes.
This site is for 9th grade academic biology and advanced biology. When you access the site, locate the "classes" tab on the right side at the top. The biology is divided into two sections 1A and 1B--We are currently working on Evolution and the material can be accessed on class 1A chapters 15-17. There are notes, power points, activities and practice sheets to do.
For the advanced Biology, underclasses locate the AP Biology section and find the unit 8 on Evolution with the notes, worksheets, and activities for this unit on Evolution.
