Substitute Positions
The Rockwood Area School District continues to accept applications for the following substitute positions for the 2026–2027 school year.
Substitute Teachers
- Qualifications: PA Certification and/or Bachelor’s Degree required
- Pay Rate: $160 per day / $180 Long term substitute
- Substitute Teacher Information and Resources
Substitute Nurses
- RN License Required
- Pay Rates:
- Certified School Nurse providing coverage during the regular nurse’s absence: $235/day
- RN, LPN, or CSN providing field trip coverage or assistance under the supervision of the regular nurse: $185/day / $360 overnight trips.
Other Substitute Positions
- Substitute Instructional & Special Education Paraprofessionals
- Substitute Custodians

Coaching Vacancies
Coaching applications are accepted for each sport during a two-week window following the completion of the regular season, beginning with the last play date.
