The Rockwood Area School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position, which will begin in 2026:

 

School Psychologist K-12 

  • The successful candidate should be PA certified as a school psychologist with principal certification preferred.
  • The candidate must have knowledge of present special ed. law and best practices.
  • Duties will include testing, counseling, and coordinating special education programs.

Special Education Coordinator or Supervisor (Act 93)

  • The candidate must have knowledge of present special ed. law and best practices.
  • Duties will include testing, counseling, and coordinating special education programs.

  • Pay Rates:
    • Certified School Nurse providing coverage during the regular nurse’s absence: $230/day
    • RN, LPN, or CSN providing field trip coverage or assistance under the supervision of the regular nurse: $180/day
