Welcome to Art!
My name is Megan Rusnak and I am the high school art teacher at Rockwood Area School District! This is my first year teaching. I currently teach Art, Graphic Arts, 3D Sculpture, Jr. High Art, FLS Art, and Art 7 Expo. I am also a co-adivsor for the school paper, Rohistat, and the high school yearbook. I also advise the school Photography Club. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my fiance and our 3 cats.
This year in art we are exploring a variety of mediums including pencil, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, and oil paint, and mixed media materials such as magazines and newspapers, plastic bottles, and other various materials. We are covering different art concepts such as color theory, techniques, art history, and various artists.
I look forward to the 2025-2026 school year in the art room!
