About Me
My name is Sarah Hay, and this is my 8h year teaching second grade. One of my hobbies to buy picture books for my classroom to help create an environment where students are surrounded in authentic literature. One of my favorite things to do with stduents is to help them make connections in their learning. We do our best in second grade to integrate the subject areas as much as possible to show that all of the learning that takes place in second grade can be connected to something else. Learning is all around us, and hopefully not a day goes by where a child does not learn something new.
I believe that education is the kindling of a flame, becuase there should be no limit on what children can achieve with the right mindset and support.
