    Hello, my name is Kristen Mumau, and I teach 6th grade ELA and social studies.  I have been teaching at Rockwood Elementary for the past six years but have been an educator for over 20 years. Prior to teaching at Rockwood, I have taught in the Philadelphia School District, Slippery Rock Area School District, at Mercyhurst North East, and at ACM and Penn Highlands Community colleges.  I am very excited to start a new school year and meet this year's 6th graders!

    I believe every chance to read or write is an opportunity to excel.
