WELCOME TO THE ROCKWOOD ROCKETS ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT
Coaching applications are accepted for each sport for a two-week window after completion of the final competition (regular and/or playoff game, whichever is later). Interested applicants should contact the Athletic Director for additional information.
2023 - 2024 SPORTS PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Each athlete must have a PIAA physical form completed (dated after June 1, 2023) by a PCP, Medexpress, or another medical facility that performs physical examinations. Please note that there are 6 sections in the PIAA physical form. Section 1 - 5 is completed by the parent/guardian. Section 6 is completed by the physician. Section 5 should be made available to the physician performing the physical. Here is the link for the physical form. PIAA Sports Physical Form
SPORTS PHYSICALS WILL BE GIVEN ON THURSDAY, JUNE 1, IN THE HIGH SCHOOL NURSE'S OFFICE. THE SPORTS PHYSICALS WILL BE GIVEN BY DR. CLARKE. THE COST OF THE PHYSICAL IS $15.00 AND CHECK CAN BE MADE PAYABLE TO "SOMERSET HEALTH SERVICES". IF YOU WILL BE HAVING YOUR PHYSICAL DONE ON THIS DATE, PLEASE HAVE YOUR COMPLETED PAPERWORK AND PAYMENT TURNED IN TO THE HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE BY WEDNESDAY, MAY 31.

Rockwood Athletic Department is excited to announce that we have installed the NFHS Pixollet camera system in our Outside Man Field and the High School Gym. Our Fall and Winter sporting events can be live-streamed on any device using this link. SPRING SPORTS WILL NOT BE STREAMED. NFHS Pixellot Streaming Link A subscription is required to view the events.

CONCUSSION INFORMATION: Every two (2) years, each athlete must have a Concussion baseline test completed. RASD currently uses ImPACT (Immediate Post Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing) to assist in evaluating and treating head injuries. This test may be taken on any device that has internet access. More information regarding the concussion testing process will be provided at a later date.
