    Welcome to the website of the Rockwood Area School District, we are glad that you are visiting with us. Our website is the port of entry for the district and all of our informational and educational sites.

    The Rockwood Area School District is a small rural district of over 800 students located in the Laurel Highlands of Southwestern Pa. Outdoor activities are many and varied. The Rockwood area is home to the Seven Springs around year resort (one of the largest resorts in the Mid-Atlantic region), and two state parks. hunting, fishing, hiking, and skiing opportunities abound.
